Don't believe it's almost 2 years since my last update! Still one of my favorite area ShopRites! Great hot food bar, including Chinese dishes, as well as cold prepared food items. Prices have gone up, but still some of the lowest of the big name supermarket chains. Store gets a bit cluttered with lots of items at the back end of the aisles. Expansive Kosher food selection as well! As is constantly announced, a "friendly store"!

Five stars! Love this location, caring and friendly staff, socially conscious, great produce too'

I live in Elmwood Park and came to this shoprite because it has a lot of kosher products. A new shoprite opened up in Elmwood Park on November 17th, but there aren't any religious Jewish people living in Elmwood Park for the store to stock up on kosher items. So, I am willing to drive 22 minutes to Englewood to get desserts that are parve (hubby and I are lactose intolerant).

Very nice grocery, visiting from out of state and shopped here several times during our stay.

The Prepared Family Meals at ShopRite featuring salmon, vegetables, and potatoes exceeded my expectations. The salmon was perfectly cooked, flaky, and flavorful. The assortment of fresh vegetables added a delightful crunch and color, complementing the dish. The seasoned potatoes were a delicious side. Overall, a convenient and tasty option for a hassle-free family meal. Service was surprisingly useful. I needed help with 2 items from produce which didn't scan, the help at the self checkout was very reliable. For healthy family precooked meals, definitely consider ShopRite.

Very broad selection, and they do have organic foods Service is good and friends atmosphere with decent prices.

I honestly think this is one of the best ShopRite's I've been to in NJ so far! After grabbing something to eat at one of the restaurants within the complex, my sister and I decided to pick up some groceries. The parking lot was a bit hectic but I was able to find a spot pretty quick. This ShopRite surprised me! They have a hot food station, pre-made sandwiches and meals, a fudge and nuts area...it reminded me of a Wegmans in a way. If anyone has been to the ShopRite in Bayonne or Kearny, you know how this could excite me haha! Even self checkout didn't have a line! I was walking towards it but an employee waved me down to check out at his lane which was nice. Overall, a great experience. I may drive 45 minutes to this location for grocery shopping again.

PROS: This Shop Rite was fully renovated 2 years back and it's looking beautiful! You walk into the eatery area first and then drift to the left to go into the supermarket area. They have things at better prices than other Shop Rites in the area. CONS: The area is not the best and has sketchy people in the parking lot and store (of course not the super markets fault, but it should be noted). Also, the parking lot has narrow lanes which makes driving in it very hard OVERALL: if you need something quick and you want to ave money and you just so happen to be in the area, I recommend coming here
